PrimeTime Players have added Van Turner, Jr. to the roster for the 2020 ECBL season. Turner, a 6'2" guard from Gainesville, Florida, spent the last two seasons playing for Queens University of Charlotte where he started 61 of 66 games on a team that went 55-12. This included two trips to the NCAA Division II national tournament where they advanced to the Elite 8 in 2019. The tournament was suspended for the 2020 season.

During his two seasons at Queens Turner knocked down 213 three pointers at a 45% rate and also made 88.9% from the free throw line. He was named an Honorable Mention All-Conference selection both years as well as Queens College All-Decade team.

Turner began his collegiate career at the College of Central Florida (NJCAA) before transferring to Queens.

PTP coach Chris Thomas commented on the signing saying, "We are excited to be adding Van to our roster for the 2021 season. After having him workout with our team over the last few months he fit right in and we are excited to see what he can do once we start the ECBL season."
