The PrimeTime Players hosted the SC Upstate Redhawks in a rematch of a 144-123 win the Player took at the Redhawks on March 13th. Both teams played even through the 1st quarter with PrimeTime Players only holding onto a 37-33 lead after one. The second quarter Sidney Sanders helped PrimeTime push the lead up to 73-54 at the half by scoring 17 of his 28pts in the quarter. The start of the second half saw the game slow down, and the RedHawks were able to capitalize, and cut the lead down to 10 with Joseph Battle and Gage Ellis leading the way in the quarter combining for 20 points. The final quarter Darius Downs came to life for the RedHawks scoring 15 of his 19 points in the quarter as the visitors were able to cut the lead down to a single possession twice in the last minute of the game behind three pointers made by Downs. Both times the host answered with James Murray and Sidney Sanders both knocking down big three pointers to push the lead back out, but after missing 3 of 4 FT the Redhawks knocked down back to back threes by Chuck McLaurin and Gage Ellis to cut the score down one more time, but a final shot by McLaurin came up short that would have tied the game at the buzzer.
