May 15th Rock Hill SC - The PrimeTime Players hosted the Kannapolis Lycans in Rock Hill SC in their second meeting of the 2022 season this past weekend at Legion Collegiate Academy. The Lycans came into the game at 1-11 and the host PrimeTime Players came in at 9-1 and still have hopes of getting a 1st round bye and winning the ECBL Southwest Division Regular season Championship with 3 games remaining and a 1 game lead on the Charlotte Tribe for the top spot. The Lycans came in with Devin Hutchinson who just returned from overseas, and also PG Andre Jackson returned after not playing since February 27th game against the Gastonia Snipers. Hutchinson came into the game having scored 80 points total in the last two games and he and Jackson came out firing, combining for 45 first half points as they were able to keep the game in striking distance and trailed 75- 61 at the half. The host PrimeTime Players were led in the first half by Sean Barnette who scored 20 first half points and guards Chris Moore, Van Turner, and James Murray combined to knock down 13 three pointers by the half. The second half was more of a shootout with both teams playing even and scoring a ton of points and PrimeTime Players cruising to their 10th win for the 10th straight season. Lycans guard Devin Hutchinson finished with 52 points and Adrew Jackson added 46 before fouling out midway through the 4th quarter. PrimeTime Players Odell Turner finished with his 11th straight double double with 23 points and 21 rebounds, MVP Candidate Sean Barnette recorded his 4th triple double with 38 points, 18 rebounds, and 11 assists. Chris Moore missed a triple double by one rebound for PrimeTime finishing with 31 points, 11 rebounds, and 9 assists, his back court mate Van Turner added 38 points and knocked down 12 three pointers.
