Powell Big 1st Half Leads PrimeTime Past Webdogs

April 8th Rock Hill SC - The PrimeTime Players hosted the SC LIF Webdogs this past Saturday in the 2nd game of the Home and Away series between the two Southern Conference teams. The game started with PrimeTime coming out of the gates quick with Chris Moore and Sean Barnette combining for 19 of the teams 38 first quarter points as they took a 38-19 lead into the 2nd. The second quarter was all Matt Powell on the offensive end where he had 6 straight made three pointers and also a highlight run down block on the defensive end. PJ Heath also added 8 points in the quarter and 8 offensive rebounds as PrimeTime went into the half up 74-58.
The second half started the same as the first quarter with both Chris Moore and Sean Barnette combining for 23 in the third quarter and PrimeTime Cruised to a 146-120 win over the Webdogs. The PrimeTime Players out rebounded the Webdogs 68 to 50 and also had 31 offensive rebounds and attempted 30 more Field Goals. PrimeTime Players forwards Anthony Johnson, PJ Heath, and Odell Turner all had double figure rebounds and finished with 45 total rebounds. The win moved PrimeTime to 7-0 and they will play at home this weekend against the Gastonia Snipers as they try to move to 8-0.
