February 15th Fort Mill SC - The PrimeTime Players hosted the Goldsboro Wings to tip off the 2025 ECBL season in front of a packed house at the Fort Mill Community Center. The Goldsboro Wings are one of the two new franchises to join the league along with the Park City Dreamers for the 2025 season. The Wings have had a busy preseason having played in three exhibition games leading up to the game against the PrimeTime Players.this past saturday.

The games started with both teams pushing the ball and also testing out the new NBA Mandatory 3 point line with a lot of early misses. Both teams held the lead, while neither led by more than 4 points and at the end of the 1st quarter the host had taken a 28-27 lead. The second quarter the teams played even for the 1st part of the quarter and at the media timeout PrimeTime had a narrow lead at 46-43. Coming out of the media timeout the host opened the floodgates going on a 31-3 run to close out the quarter with Chris Moore scoring 14 points over the last 3 minutes and Diondre Pratt and Cornellius Reynolds combining for 20 points in the quarter. primeTime also knocked down 9 three pointers in the quarter as it seems to get more comfortable with the new 3 point line.
The second half PrimeTime was able to push the lead up to as much as 40, but the Wings continued to battle the entire half and were able to cut the lead down to 22 before the host pulled away for a 138-105 final. The Wings finished with 5 players in double figures led by My'Quan Gooding with 24pts, Antonio Smith, Tyler Wilson, and Kristopher Clark with 16, and Alex Brailsford with 10. PrimeTime Players were led by Cornellius Reynolds who finished with a game high 43pt, and Chris Moore and Isiah Cureton combined for 50pts, while Cureton also added 15 rebounds. Odell Turner was also a force all game on the boards finishing with 22 total rebounds and PG Kerigan Farley added 14 assists for PrimeTime. Diondre Pratt played limited minutes having to leave after playing only 8 minutes but finished with 13pts and 8 rebounds, and Turner also added 13pts to match the Wings with 5 players in double figure.
PrimeTime will next travel to Greenville to take on the LIF Webdogs on March 2, and the Goldsboro Wings will look to bounce back this week and will host the Rowan County Bulls this coming Saturday at Spring Creek HS.
