3/6/2025by Hoop Agents

Forward  Isiah Cureton (196-F) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for second-ranked PrimeTime Players and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 3.
He had a double-double of 42 points and 15 rebounds, while his team outclassed, the league's bottom-ranked team LF WebDogs (#4, 0-2) with 69-point margin 186-117. Players maintains the 2nd position in their group in the ECBL league. They maintain a perfect record without any lost game in the league. But it's just the very beginning of the season and PT Players won both games without losing any. It's too early to say anything as the standings can be changed completely after next round. In the team's last game Cureton had a remarkable 60.0% from 2-point range. It's his second year at Players and it's hard to imagine this team without him. Wingate University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Cureton is in league's top in points (3rd best: 33.0ppg), rebounds (6th best: 15.0rpg) and averages solid 1.5bpg and 59.5% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was  Cornellius Reynolds (198-SF-1997). He is a in his second season at PT Players. In the last game Reynolds recorded an impressive triple-double of 41 points, 17 rebounds and 10 assists. Of course together with Cureton he helped PrimeTime Players with another comfortable win outscoring LF WebDogs (0-2) 186-117. His team has extremely good start of the season. They won both games so far. However the season is at the beginning, so everything can happen. They still may lose their high position in the standings. Reynolds is well-known at Players and together with Isiah Cureton he already established his position as one of the team's leaders. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 42.0ppg (#1). His other stats are also decent: 10.0rpg and 7.0apg.

Third place about best performers goes to forward Donlad Rutherford (203-F-1987) of Rowan County Bulls(#5). Rutherford got into 30-points club by scoring 46 points in the last round. He went also for fourteen rebounds and five assists. Despite Rutherford's great performance the Bulls lost 121-133 to Kingdom L. (#2, 1-2). But his team cannot count on just a single shooter as he also needs help of the other teammates. RC Bulls can only dream about fighting for top spots in Northeast Division. Rutherford has individually a great season in ECBL. After only 2 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 40.0ppg (2nd best) and rebounds with 15.5rpg (5th best).
