April 12th Rock Hill SC - The PrimeTime Players hosted the Gastonia Snipers Saturday afternoon at Legion Collegiate Academy in Rock Hill SC. PrimeTime came into the game coming off two wins last week over the Crusaders and Magic while the Snipers  had the week off after falling the week before in overtime to the Crusaders.
The home team came out quick led by Cornellius Reynolds who scored a quick 13 straight points for PrimeTime as it looked like the game was going to be a shootout. Things changed quickly as the visitors seemed to steal the early momentum with tough defense and Guard Anthony Ray scored 10 in the quarter as the Snipers took a 24-21 lead going into the second quarter. The second quarter the Snipers improved on their lead with Warren Vinson scoring 15 in the quarter as the Snipers went up 42-30 at the 7 minute mark of the quarter. The next seven minutes saw Jeremy Evans come to life getting almost every rebound and scoring 12 points to end the quarter while leading PrimeTime on a 25-9 run to close the quarter and give them a 55-51 halftime lead. The third quarter both teams played more up and down than in the first half with the Snipers scoring 33pts in the quarter, with 17 of those coming from Yakim Jenkins. Jeremy Evans again had a huge quarter with 3 big slams and 13 points to go along with another 11 from Cornellius Reynolds as they took a 87-84 lead into the fourth quarter. Quiet most of the game it seemed the Snipers forgot about Chris Moore as he score 10 straight points to start the quarter to give PrimeTime a early double figures lead. The Snipers continued to attack in the offensive end with Anthony Ray adding another 16 points in the Corner but Evans again added 13 more points in the quarter and Odell Turner helped close things out with 10 points down the stretch and 3 big blocks on the defensive end as PrimeTime held on for a 131-120 win.
Cornellius Reynolds led all scorers with 44pts, while Jeremy Evans added 37, Odell Turner 18, and Chris Moore 18 for PrimeTime.
The Snipers were led by Yakim Jenkins with 29, Warren Vinson 28, Anthony Ray 27, Ricardo Glenn 17, and Nick Crawford with 10.
